My Class Connect was started as a way to facilitate contact between classroom members. It is basically a virtual classroom where students can collaborate with one another. Using our site will not only allow you to get to know your classmates even before your first day of class but provide multiple benefits for students after the semester has begun.
With our services students can back up your notes, share them with select class-mates, share them with entire class, get to know their class, email class-mates directly, talk on a discussion board, buy and sell your textbook, and stay organized with your personal calendar.
BACK UP YOUR NOTES: Leave the USB FLASH DRIVES at home! With MCC
SHARE YOUR NOTES WITH SELECT CLASSMATES: Make a study guide and just want to share with your buddies? Hey it happens. With MCC you can upload notes and decide who you want to give them access to by clicking on the photo of that member(s).
SHARE NOTES WITH ENTIRE CLASS: If you are feeling extra giving this semester feel free to share your notes with the entire class by selecting “share with class” at the upload notes link.
GET TO KNOW YOUR CLASS: Its amazing that you can spend 5 months with a group of people and still not know their names! Happens to all of us. Now you can view your class list with photos and finally be able to match a name with a face.
EMAIL YOUR CLASS: Email your classmates directly from the server by clicking on their photo. All emails will be sent directly to their most used email account.
DISCUSSION BOARD: Want to talk about how ridiculous that last exam was?? Post new topics on the discussion board link or add new ones you want people to give you feedback to.
BUY AND SELL YOUR TEXT BOOK: Finally a system that makes sense! Why not be able to BUY your text-book from the students who took the same course the semester before you and then SELL the text book to the students taking it after. NO MIDDLE MEN! Just email the student directly and meet them on campus.
MY CALENDAR: I can imagine by now all you students have mastered a way to stay on top of assignments, but one more reminder can never hurt. Store assignments and due dates on the “My Calendar” link and receive a flashing message of what is due when you log on.
